No time to write much, but I figured I'd at least pay my respects.I'm probably the one-millionth person to type this, but "Shine On, You Crazy Diamond."

Syd will always have a place in history. Maybe a case study in too much of everything - but his place is secure.
I have seen the Floyd several times but never Syd.
So today I hoist a glass in appreciation for things seen and unseen.

I need to dust off the old vinyl on The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn in honor of Syd's passing. "Interstellar Overdrive" is pretty damned cool.
Then, I'll have to dust off the vinyl on Relics to hear "Arnold Layne", Floyd's 1st single, which was left off The Piper LP. Come to think of it, "Interstellar Overdrive" is on Relics too.
Wow, the first I've heard about this. It's a shame that so much great music was inspired by the loss of a friend's sanity.
I've had a couple of friends in my life that didn't learn from Syd's example and the friendships ended. I hope that he finally has found peace.
