F*ck The Puritans, And The Horses They Rode (Doggie-Style) In On

This is controversial?! This?!!!

The U.S. needs to get over its puritanical ancestry, already. Breast-feeding is incredibly healthy for the baby, and is also believed to reduce the risk of breast cancer in the mother. Hello! In the corporate world, we call that a "win-win" scenario.

And, another thing, I've seen some disgusting motherfuckers eating in public, chewing with their mouths open while talking, and spitting food all over the place in the process. That was offensive. Watching a baby suck milk from his/her mother's tit is not offensive. This is not a matter of opinion. If you are offended by something as natural as a mother nursing her infant child, you are wrong. If your mind immediately jumps to perceiving this as a sexual situation in any way, then you have a seriously twisted fetish for which you probably should seek psychological help.

No infant should EVER go hungry while the mother seeks a more private setting in which to nurse. Pull that boob out and let nature take its course! Get over yourselves, people! No matter how sinful Pastor Billy Bob might've told you the human body was, I really don't think that justifies your advocating the hunger of a child.

Read here for the story that set me off.

PS - Spell-check just wanted me to replace "motherfuckers" with "motorbike." That's pretty classic, in and of itself.

Muffin tops -- fatties (who shouldn't be) wearing lowrise jeans and cropped tops -- also more offensive. Now you got me riled up, Haahnster ...

(Crack! Knuckles & dive in the foray)

Boobs are boobs they were made to feed babies. Vagina and uteruses were designed to produce babies. Sex is an indicator of male or femaleness. Penises were made to deposit sperm to impregnate uteruses. Using the theory you have espoused, then it would be appropriate to copulate in public in order to produce babies.

I really don't care what people do as far as fashion goes or breast feeding. My opinion is that I do not want to see certain things while I am eating lunch. Not that I think it is obscene. I think it is highly inappropriate to breast feed a baby in a bar. Which I encountered while managing a bar.

Personally, if I do not think that I would nurse a baby in a public venue. I believe it is private & personal activity. Extenuating circumstances would certainly change my feelings. I am not offended by nudity. Janet Jackson's muniscule display did not bother me. The magazine cover does not bother me. It is appropriate for it's genre.

You are correct in that people should get a grip, but fair is fair. Pregnant women walk around exposing their bare bellies in hip huggers and bikinis, I have decided that I too can expose my belly to the world. (Ha, Ha)

But, to counter one more point. Nursing is not new and people are treating it as if it were a novelty. The more horrible and obscene view was the reason women stopped nursing. The breasts were for a man's enjoyment and somehow women were convinced it was dirty to nurse.

Thanks for letting me use up so much space.

All this crap makes me crazy.

Why would someone have a baby in a bar to begin with?

The shocking part of the article Haahnster is that most of the naysayers were women.

From the Yahoo article "Readers of a US parenting magazine are crying foul over the publication's latest cover depicting a woman breastfeeding, with some calling the photo offensive and disgusting."

What could be more natural? Turn your head, look the other way. I had no problem explaining it to Procrastinator Jr. when he was three, "the baby is feeding, because that's how the mom gives him milk."

Treat it like the normal thing that is, why is that so hard?

Now, bums and butt-cracks? That sets me off! At some of my work sites, I work Downtown and have seen enough crusty homeless...ugh! I don't want to even type it!

This story still steams me. In a day where Paris Slutton shoots soft-porn commercials for a hamburger, we're supposed to be up in artms about a mother breastfeeding a child? Geez. We are out of whack, aren't we?

I love breasts. All kinds. Guess I'm a pervert?

But as a biker. I can safely say that motherfucker and motorbike are very similar - especially in a thunderstorm at 80mph.

Long live breast milk!!!
