Roy Buchanan Plays "Hey Joe"

Seriously, where in the Holy F*CK is all of the "Roy Buchanan is the greatest guitarist EVER" hype?!? Surely he's more deserving than 'you-know-who' is...

All I know is that I listened to a great Hendrix show from Atlanta this morning and Jimi and Eric both rock in my book.

Thanks and Merry Christmas.

I can handle bank robberies and rock trivia. I'm almost a guy.

Another killer selection. Vocals were a bit scary, but who was listening to the vocals, anyway.

Beth: You are burying the needle on the cool-o-meter.

Mat: You know, I think the vocals are deliberately minimalist, in order to contrast to the violence of the bursting guitar. Or, maybe I'm being too kind. I do have recordings of Roy where the vocals are not that understated.

In any event, like you said, with guitar like that, who gives a shit about the vocals?!?
