Mat: You know, I think the vocals are deliberately minimalist, in order to contrast to the violence of the bursting guitar. Or, maybe I'm being too kind. I do have recordings of Roy where the vocals are not that understated.
In any event, like you said, with guitar like that, who gives a shit about the vocals?!?
I am so behind, will catch up tomorrow when I can play these - everyone is asleep now, shhh!
