"It's easy to grin, when your ship comes in, and you've got the stock market beat. But the man worthwhile is the man who can smile when his shorts are too tight in the seat...OK, pookie, do the honors." - Judge Smails (Ted Knight) in Caddyshack

Man, that almost looks real! The trailer is a nice touch, too. Whoever put that up did a great job, except for one obvious error: "Coming in 2007." Who would believe that? Should've put 2009 or something. Then I would've fallen for this. But, no, this has got to be a fake.
As the great Chuck D once said, "Don't believe the hype. It's a sequel..."
PS - Did you get the package I sent you? I hope it survived in tact. Shit, I hope I had the right address! My "files" are somewhat disorganized.
Package received. Big thanks - been meaning to write an email forever. Archives Performance Vol. 2, or whatever it's called, is AWESOME! A top Crazy Horse document (which puts it high on any list, of course). The loss the music world suffered with Whitten's death cannot be overstated. Ponch is cool, but it just is not the same. I'll be cranking this version of "Cowgirl" in the car on the way home - got it with me.
So, how big is this Archives thing going to get? 8 cds, 2 dvds, and we're only up to 72? Our fantasies of the 80's getting re-written may acutally happen - not until the 2080's probably, but it looks like he's going to give himself enough room to flesh it out.
There have been many times since I first heard that version of "Cowgirl" a few months ago that I have thought, "This is the single greatest piece of recorded music in history!"
The guitar solos are sheer f*cking ECSTASY (and I'm not talking about the drug)!!!
I've read rumors of 4 Boxes, each the size of this one! Could be "In the Year 2525" so to speak. (Gawd, I haven't heard that cheeseball song in ages. In the year 9510, If the Archives are comin' they should be comin' by then...)
