Pigskin Pigheadedness

DA BEARS!!!

2-0 against NYC this year..."Take a bite out of the Big Apple/Don't mind the maggots"

Peyton "We had some protection problems" Manning and the Colts taste bitter defeat in Big "D."

Hey, Write Procrastinator, what the heck have your 49ers been up to? Obviously, someone made a deal with the devil.

College Football (BCS) -- Note to the USC Trojans: Lose. There is absolutely no reason why Ohio State and Michigan should not play again in the BCS Championship Game. They are clearly the 2 best teams in the country, and Michigan only lost by 3 points on Ohio State's home field. Why wouldn't they deserve a rematch at a neutral site? (And, believe me, I'm far from a Michigan fan.)

PS - My Cubs are reported to be finalizing a $136 million (8-year) deal with Soriano to fill the much needed lead-off role. So, obviously, he'll suffer a season-ruining high ankle sprain getting out of a golf cart (or some other ridiculous shit that could only happen when the Cubs are involved).

First, so goes the offensive and defensive lines, so goes the game. That's why you can see teams like the Niners pull an upset here and there. You did us a huge favor by letting Walt Harris go, seven interceptions and the closest thing we have to a shut-down corner.

That's the thing with parity and free agency in this new league, who ever plays as a team that day, wins. Look at the Cowboys. Chances are that the Colts would beat them four out of five times, but who played as team yesterday?

The Bears' D held the world up like Atlas, until Rex could get it together at the end.

Second, if the Trojans beat Notre Dame, we won't get that dream rematch because they will be the clear number two. It's time for a playoff system. Winner of the BCS ranked #1 vs. #2, versus the winner of the BCS ranked #3 vs. #4. I'm tired of this co-champion nonsense and think of the money that would go to collegiate sports, when you have NFL Conference Championship-like TV ratings.

Third, suckers, the curse of the Cubs continues! A-Rod money for A-Sore, will get you a-**** results!
